Hey everyone at CAclubindia,

I am appearing for CPT this December. I haven't started prepairing for it as my Term end examz of S.Y. B.Com. was going on, I was unable to give time for CPT studies. I had my last paper today only and now my target is all set.

But now I left with 17 days only before the 18th of December, the exam date of course. I dont think I can finish studying in such a short spam of time. It is my re-attempt, last time I got 93 and dont want to stuck again at this level.

I believe all the members here @ CAclubindia are geneous. This friend of yours require some motivations:( Please guide me through and suggest some study strategies so that I can cross this obstacle of CPT.

Thanking all in advance.

Dear Kiran,

Confidence is the first strength you need to have. Given the time limitation and the course details which you are aware. List out Topics which you can score more ( also the wieghtage of topics all subjects) cover that in next 2 to 3 days. Then spend next 5 days on topcis you need clarifications or help. Dont shy to ask yoru seniors or find a prof/teacher who can coach you on a crash course- dont try to do on yoru own.

With that - first get to a position wehre you can score atleast the minimum pass - goal post.

All i can say is priortize and make useful of the time Available. I am assumign you have sound basics in Accounting - so you can concentrate on theory subjects whih may require more time.

All the very best.

Satish.

Thank u so much for ur encouraging words Sir. I am a commerce student, thats why Account is not a big problem. What I am afraid of is "Quantitative Aptitude". I had left the subject three yeard ago and I have forget the basic concepts of Maths. I have planned to pay more attention on it.

Will it be a good idea to concentrate on QA or should I study other subjects which I feel are easier????

Thanks once again....

a really good strategy stated by you here sir, will try my best to follow it!!

Dear Kiran,

Quantitative aptitude - REvise all the basic concepts  in the first 5 days and try out past papers or exercise and try to solve. Wherever you are not clear - mark those and revisit teh concepts at the end of each day.

I hope this works for you.

Never give up.
