Need some advice plz

hey everyone , i am a newly passed ca in may 2015 attempt . i have not been able to complete my gmcs and it's still due. now the problem is that for sitting in the current campus placement i have to get it complete by 30 oct. but the placement shedule is really tight and ranges in august till september. i was thinking of sitting in the next campus as we can sit in either this one or the next, but some of my friends are of the view that companies will prefer current pass out to the prev one .soo friends is this true , i also have some personal family tour in between which really makes it really difficult to complete the GMcs to be eligible to sit in this campus ... soo plzz advice me wat shud i do , should i try to simehow sit in this one or should i wait for the next campus .
