Hello, I am a student and i am doing a project on cash flow statement analysis.
i have the cash flow statement of a power distribution company which is prepared in indirect method. So i wanted to know is it possible to calculate total cash inflows and total cash outflows from the statement. If it is possible then how to calculate it?
Yes, but only for investing and financing activities.
Negative values are outflows and positive values are inflows.
So sir for the example attached, changes in fixed assets, changes in share application money are outflows and changes in cwip,changes in long term loans & advances,interst income, changes in share capital etc are infows?

how can i compute net cash inflows and net cash outflows without the operating activities?
Add up all inflows and all outflows.
