Need career guidance

Hello Everyone,

I am a CA who passed out in May2014, presently employed in a MNC. I would like to know , how progressing will a career in product control dept of an Investment bank be? Is it a career suitable for a CA? A career in Product control or a career in core banking is better for a CA?

Please provide me guidance. I am very confused as of now.

Pls note: I am presently working in a Product Control dept.Also i do not prefer audit/ taxation as a career.

Its Supporting and outsourced function from onshore counter part and mostly found in Captive KPO or BPO of MNC Investment Banks. There would not be any decision making or influencing output of this role. Its just part of SOP to be performed. You should think because as CA you got tremendous potential. You might be getting lucrative package now but that would be for shor term only. Going forward all process of KPO and BPO will be transfered to Phillipines and you will remain with that experience further and your chances of getting into another profile will be harder......

I would also like to know, a career in banking or insurance would be better or career in finance dept of a FMCG ?
