Need advise regarding group 1 accounts

CPT 687 views 4 replies

I have cleared my CPT in Dec 2012, which was my first attempt. I got exact 100 marks. And I cleared it without knowing any thing about ledgers and journals as in  +2 I had  Phy, chem & maths. Now I am finding acounts difficult to understand. I am attending classes of a reputed teacher. and since my basics nil I sit dumb in the Accounts class as against cost & FM which I don't find difficult. I read a few chapters of ACCOUNTS for CPT by Tulsian which helped me a little in understanding ledger posting. But it has not got many subjective questions(since it is meant for CPT). So please suggest me the best suitable book, and the way to approach the subject (chapterwise).

I will be really thankful.

purchase double entry book keeping-1 of s.p jain and k.l narang. That book is very good for basics in accounting. 1st understand journal, then ledger once u do final a/c then there will be no doubt
