I want to purchase a laptop for doing accounting works in Tally 9 & Income tax & TDS works.Please suggest me the configurations I should look for & any particular brand that I should opt for.My budget is within Rs.30000 TO 35000 . Hope to get suggestions from expert members in this regard.

HP or Dell which shud i prefer ???
For your work any secondhand laptop is also sufficient.
Both brand are good. Just consider location of service centre nearest to you.

Pentium dual core processor laptop will be sufficient.. it will cost u less than Rs.25000....upper limit of u'r budget is Rs.35000 ......from balance of Rs. 10000 u'll able to purchase IT Return software n other softwares.....

Lenova or Hp is best compared to Dell, as dell has batery problem.
Any other brand you are good to go, but if you want to know the top five.. go with one of these, HP, Sony, Asus, Toshibia and Lenovo. You can't go wrong with one of these five.....!
Incase of Sony..the price might be bit high when compared to other laps at same config.. but none other can beat its battery backup and speed !
ultimately i wud suggest you to go with lenovo as it suits your requirement....!
