i am shifting my some of purchased equipment from one state to another state. The shifting is done personally through train not through parcel division of train.
so do i need to generate eway bill and can i show way of transport through train n personally.

Yes eway bill is required in this case also if consignment value exceed 50000/-
total value of consignment is exceeding 50000/-
Then it's better to carry goods along with ewaybill

RR(Railway receipt) and PNR are not the same. Though nothing is clear in law about how to carry goods personally through rail, you can logically put the PNR number but you know our Govt. authorities don't like logical explanation so I would suggest to follow the law/rule to avoid any harrasment.
