My Pan Number is AARPM6911H but it is showing pancard no is deactivated. I would like to reveive this pancard because this was used by my clients and employers to deposit as and also I am submitting return on this since last 6 to 8 years
Please suggest what shall I do.

But when A.O. is not react on application for activate pan card.
So, what should I do..
And CIT Also no show any interest in these.
You should make application to your assessing officer regarding the activation of your pan number . AFTER that the department will activate your pan number.

I have one question to you How do you come to know your pan card is deactivated.
It is not mobile phone value added service that can be deactivated.
Just Tell me how you found out your pan card is deactivated.

Once you try to log in on to the income tax website, it tells you that your PAN is deactivated if thats the case.

Sir, I know you are genious.... But let me speak my problem ...
when a person a pan card but after some year he saw on know your jurisdiction on income tax site there is nothing regarding that PAN no, When we reach ITO, they said that your pan card deactivated due to this name has already 2 pan no so, we deactivate your first Pan card, but he not have any Addtional pan card.
You have to reach your A.O. office and submit an application to A.O. with Copy of Commissioner of Income tax.
After that you may have to face so difficulties regarding activation in Office due to staff of A.O. not ready to this type of work. Becasue many people of department not know how to activate this.
When it is tried to re-register again, it shows a message stating that your PAN is already registered.
