Multiple business GST
someone have gst number for his business of construction material electrical fittings trading.. now he wants to sale blood pressure machine can he use his present gst number for doing this kind of business.

My honourable sir CA Aakarsh Jain sir ,...my friend have a business in three states like Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Karnataka ......... does he need separate GST number for these three states??? many states??

Each state should have seperate registration . There is no centralised registration concept in GST registration

Multiple business in one state can be done through one GST number in a particular state
Central registration one and state registration multiple as per existence.
Centralised registration concept is not there in GST..It was there in service tax only not in GST
Meaning...If IGST means one state many business Central Regestiration is required one GST number,.....if the business many kind of States means separate GST number is required I am a correct sir
If there is business in doing from multiple locations in different states then separate GST registration is required in each state
