Below given is the content of an email sent to a CFA student by the CFA Institute..

"We accept credit cards (American Express, Diners Club, JCB, MasterCard or Visa), personal or corporate checks, and money orders as payment. We also accept wire transfer payments. The instructions are as follows:

Wire Transfers within the US

SunTrust Bank
919 E. Main St.
Richmond, VA 23219
ABA # 061000104
Account Name: CFA Institute
Account # 201580721

Wire Transfers from a Foreign Country

SunTrust Bank
25 Park Place
Atlanta, GA 30303
Swift Code: SNTRUS3A
Account Name: CFA Institute
Account # 201580721

To ensure your payment is applied to your account correctly, please follow these steps:

· Include your name and CFA Institute ID number or invoice number (if applicable) on the wire
· State the purpose of the wire (for example exam registration, dues payment)
· Fax your wire confirmation to 1-434-951-5240 or scan and e-mail it to info @ cfainstitute.org, Attention: Registration and Revenue Department

Note that we cannot confirm receipt of your wire transfer payment until it's been applied to your account. We generally advise applicants to allow up to three weeks (often less) for receipt of a wire transfer. We quote this time frame because the transfer time can vary depending on the number of banks the wire transfer must pass through. Once we receive the funds, you should allow an additional seven to ten business days for our Registration and Revenue department to allocate the funds to your account."
