I found a mnemonic for capital gain exemptions in IPCC but not able to recall. Can't find it here now. Plz help if anyone has. Thanks.

[Section 54] Long Term Capital Gain From Transfer Of Residential House Property. ->> {you can remember it by thinking Ghar k badle Ghar.}

 

[Section 54B] Capital Gain From Transfer Of Agricultural Land. ->> {you can remember it by thinking B = Bullock Cart on Agricultural land}

 

[Section 54D] Capital Gain on Compulsory Acquisition of Land and Building of an Industrial undertaking. ->> {you can remember it by thinking D = Dishonest Government ki Dadagri}

 

[Section 54EC] Long Term Capital Gain Exemption for Investment in Certain bonds. ->> {you can remember it by thinking EC = 'E'xemption for Investment in 'C'ertain bonds.} (.i.e E = Exemption , C= Certain bonds)

 

 

[Section 54F] Long Term Capital Gain From Transfer Of Asset other than Residential House Property. ->> {you can remember it by thinking F = Family House ( owned not more than one.)}

 

[Section 54G] Capital Gain on Transfer of assets in cases of Shifting of Industrial undertaking s from urban areas to any other area. ->> {you can remember it by thinking "Sehar se kidhar bhi"}
