Mistake in paper

It will not amount to any cheating or placing of Identification mark on the Paper. Also note that if the xaminer is kind enough ( Which Generally they ar at times ) then he/she may even consider your answer based on your Remark written but dont be sure about that. to calculate your expected marks. This may or may not happen.

A similar situation happened to a student in nov 2013, they did not give marks to the cancelled answer. But the student sent a mail to the insititue after receiving his answer sheet copy stating that he had mentioned to consider the cancelled answer.The institue gave the marks for the cancelled answer.

Of course, it wont. U had by mistake crossed an answer and were just indicating by a note to consider that answer for evaluation. U didnt request to evaluate that answer in any particular way but were merely asking to consider it for evaluation. It doesnt in anyway tantamount to asking for marks..

As PSPSPS mentioned, u may get lucky and get the answer evaluated. It is entirely at the discretion of the evaluator. He isnt required to evaluate ur crossed answer but he may do so if he is kind enough. 

Anyways ur result isnt going to be withheld. Pls get that out of ur mind and focus on the remaining exams.

Hi Marty thanks for that info. Ok, so no more worries:)  Even if the evaluator opts not to evaluate it, u can still hope for getting it evaluated by conveying the matter to ICAI.
