One of my friend has applied for PAN Card and the PAN card has issued to him. But unfortunately the date of birth on the PAN Card is wrong. He has filled the DOB in the PAN application form correctly and in the supporting documents also correct. How it will happen? We have learned that now he has to apply for a correction again filling the form (part), enclosing supporting documents, photo etc. Is it not the punishment to him as there is no fault of him. Is there any way to make a complaint to get a corrected PAN Card? Please let us know. Thanks in advance for your valuable inputs.
