missed an inward invoice in gstr-3b
I placed an order for purchase of some articles from xyz company, the sale invoice for which was generated by xyz on 28th Aug and articles were dispatched on 01st September. Due to Transit delay or whatever reason, I received the purchase invoice and articles on 22nd September and hence I was not able to reflect neither this particular purchase nor corresponding itc in gstr-3b of August. Now should I reflect such purchases in gstr-3b of September or should wait for gstr 3 of August to be filled.

Now your steps is exactly correct.. You can show it in September return.
Invoice date is only supplier end transaction date. Receiver can be account goods received date only...
In this transaction Received of Supply date is your transaction date...
You can show it in GSTR 3B and GSTR 2 for September month transactions based returns...

No need to worry, you can claim the ITC up to 12 months. you can show in next month returns.
A purchase invoice of month march has not entered.can the ITC can be claimed in april month?If so,Where the details to be entered?
