Mismatch of itr 1 with form 16

CAN A SALARIED INDIVIDUAL FILE RETURN NOT AS PER FORM 16 BY CLAIMING MORE DEDUCTION U/S 80C & D , NOT SHOWN IN FORM 16 , WILL MISMATCH OF ITR 1 WITH FORM 16 IS JUSTIFIABLE ??FORM 16 SHOWS TAX PAYABLE BUT WHILE FILING ITR WITH ALL ALLOWABLE DEDUCTIONS  IT SHOWS REFUND , PLEASE ANSWER ON URGENT BASIS . THANKS TO ALL WHO REPLY MY ANSWER

Dear Sonia yes you can do so, not mandatory to file same as form 16. But there must be proper documents for the same. Claim your refund. Regards

Not mandatory for as it is in form 16. You can claim deductions if any it is there.

You can also.claim 80G,80tta which also.not include in form 16

Form 16 consist of details of saving provided by you to your employer. if there is any other savings or investments other than declared which you have made in that financial year you can claim the same also. Regarding other salary details in form 16 you can recheck it if any calculation is done mistakenly. at end we cant say that form 16 is final
