Quick Summary
If your employer has made an error in your Form 16, specifically with the HRA exemption calculation, you can correct this on your Self Assessment Tax Return. It's advisable to first ask your employer to rectify their mistake. You should then file your return with the accurate figures. According to advice, there are no negative consequences for such mismatches, as the Form 16 is not considered final.

Yes form 16 is not final. Please rectify all errors in your ITR. There are no consequences for mismatch.

Thank u sir for your guidance.
First ask your employer to rectify his mistake .. that is his responsibility to rectify that for you.
next file your return with exact calculation. if any proceeding fall on you just show that is because of employers mistake
