Quick Summary
If the dividend amount in your bank account doesn't match your 26AS statement, don't worry. Not all dividends are reflected in 26AS, which can also affect TDS figures. To correctly report your dividend income in your Income Tax Return (ITR), you should declare the total dividend received in your bank account, plus any TDS shown in your 26AS. Ensure your ITR reflects the actual amount received.
