. It depends upon the nature of the business of the Company. Its a collection of datas from various departments and allocat/analyse with a completed format can be called as MIS. For example in a Manufacturing Co., Departments viz., Production,Marketing/Sales,Finance,HR,Admin & so has to submit the monthly activity reports with facts & figures can be grouped and furniedh in one heading called MIS. In some companies it will exhibit with Budget & previous period actual also to know the stats as of now.
