MGT:14 is used to file Special resolution with Roc.
If you are asking about the resolution number which is entered in the form MGT 14 and any other form, yes it is necessary to enter the number and date when the board authorised him to file the form. When a director signs the form, it means the Board has authorised him to do so on its behalf and the resolution number and its date reflect the authenticity of signing authority.
