membership query

Hi all,

I passed CA Final in Nov 09 exam.. Just now i checked form for applying membership of ICAI (i.e: Form 2).... In that there is no mention about GMCS course... In this regard i want to know can i apply for memnership pending GMCS....? Or can i apply for membership in between the GMCS course... I asking this query because, i read in this forum that recently passed out students who have not applied for membership latest by March 31, need to write another exam....!!!! My GMCS course starts on March 11th & it ends by March 29th....

So, need the guidance of members of this forum...
