Membership fees - last date

Dear Prateek,

Membership fees becomes due on 1st of april every year, but the member has an option to deposit it to ICAI upto 30th September of the relevant year. Any delay after 30th September could result in removal of name of member from the register of members of ICAI.

The last date for renewal of Membership fees for the period 2013-14 is on 30th September 2013.

What is the mode of payment of Membership Fees? And in my case my membership is from Estern Region i.e. from Kolkata and currently I am based in Bangalore, can I deposit the membership fees in Bangalore ICAI Branch itself or do I need to send it to  Kolkata Regional Branch Office? Pls help

Kindly go throught the modes of Payment of Annual Fees (attached with this message)
and i am not sure about the Bangalore branch of ICAI... but as far as normal practice of ICAI is concerned, the cheque/DD of Membership fees can be paid at any branch of ICAI, e.g. at ITO Branch in Delhi along with the main office of ICAI in Delhi... so considering this fact, the same should be accepted in your city bangalore also.

When i got my membership no: i was in Kerala and p[resently  am in Bangalore; can i draw a DD favouring Secretary ICAI,Bangalore or should i draw it in the name of secretary,ICAI,Southern region,Chennai as Chennai is the HO for southern zone.

Best practice would be to consult the same with the ICAI memb. enquiry section... you will get the number from the regional branch of state, and then clear the issue with them..

 i already paid membership but not get confirmaton through ICAI BECAUSE OF SOME TECHNICAL PROBLEM.
