I have just qualified CA in Nov, 2011. Should i apply for membership immediately?? Or should i wait for April? Is the membership fee meant for a period of 1 year? If i apply for it now..will i have to submit the fees again in april?

Apply Now only. You will be saving only Rs. 2000/-.
But in interviews, it ll be nice to give your membership number in applications, etc. ( If you receive it soon). Also you will be a member in this year, not next year, if you apply after april.
