Practically saying, many persons not taken membership and are doing jobs, no issue arises but this is not recommended by ICAI, after passing the final exam and GMCS training, a person should enroll himself in Register of members kept by ICAI.

what is motivating people not to take membership. If membership is taken and continuing with job, how cpd events are calculated?.Even if one does not got job and not applied for membership, what will be the senario?. What formalities to be fulfilled for getting and continuance of membership?.

You can take membership anytime after becoming CA. The form is avaliable on icai.org portal members section, you have to pay an annual fees.
