Member in charge of two firms

can a chartered accountant having COP in charge of the head office of a partnership firm of chartered accountants, start practicing as a sole proprietor by getting another FRN? i e simultaneously being in charge of the head office of the partnership firm and the sole proprietorship.

yes he can.but the aggregate number of audits shall not exceed the prescribed limit laid by ICAI for both the firms.
