a company served a notice of general meeting upon its member the notice stated that the resolution to increase the share capital of company would be considered as such meeting a shareholder complain that the amount of the proposed increase by not specified in the notice is the notice valid?

that member is right. such an agenda should have explanatory statement which shall set out in detail the resolution that is supposed to be passed.

explanatory statement contains that resolution as it is.

therefore there is a mistake on the part of the company and shareholder is right on his grounds.
