Medical Reimbursement

Others 929 views 8 replies

I came to know from some of my friends that for medical reimbursement of <15,000, employee need not submit the bills , for audit purposes it is sufficient if a declaration by the employee that he has incurred medical expenses of such and such amount.

Please any body can tell whether this is correct .. if correct please give me notification details please

No, U have to submit the medical bills. Declaration is not sufficient. Non submision of bills would create audit enquiry.

In case of medical reimburesement submission of bills is necessary else it is disallowed to the extent bills not produced since being a perquisite .But if the company gives that as Medical Allowance submission of Bills is not necessary. Just Distingish between reimbursement and allowance
