Medical bill reimbursement

239 views 1 replies

I worked for one company for 6 months where I did not submit my medical bills. Now I am working with a different company. Can I submit the medical bills to my new employer of               Rs 15,000 and get the tax benefit. If not, how can I claim medical reimbursement which was available when I was  working      with my old employer?

As the bills pertain to the period when you were working for the old emplyer, hence those bills should have been submitted to your old employer. You cannot submit those bills to the new employer.
