Please solve the following puzzle:
By making use of numbers 1,3,4 and 9 get the total to 27 by making use of funcation add, substract, divide and multiply.
Also each digit and funcation is to be used only once.
Please reply urgently.

(4 - 1) ^ 9/3 = 27 (where ^ = to the power of)
or,
3^(4+1) / 9 = 243/9 = 27
or
9 / (4/3 -1) = 27
or
(9 / (4-1))^3 = 27
