3)On the average, experienced person does 5
units of work while a fresh one 3 units of work
daily but the employer has to maintain the
output of at least 30 units of work per day.
This situation can be expressed as:
a) 5x + 3y ≤ 30 b) 5x + 3y ≥ 30
C) 5x + 3y = 30 d) None of these
 
4)If the sum of n terms is 2n square +5n then its nth
term is
a) 4n – 3 b) 3n – 4 c) 4n + 3 d) 3n + 4

Answer of 3) is C), because combination of two experienced and fresher work should be at least 30 units hence , experience worker = x and fresher = y. When solving the problem 5x + 3y = 30.                                     I can't understand your 4th question, i think you omitted to put the sign between 2n and 2, please rectify that , so I can think on that properly.

 

 

3.) (b) 5x + 3y ≥ 30

The word "Atlleast" means mininum this much ie maximum no limit therefore  5x + 3y should be greater  than or equal to 30.
