Corporate and Allied Laws, Final (New Course) and Corporate Laws and Secretarial Practice, Final (Old Course) (For November, 2010 examinations) - (04-08-2010)

1. We bring to the attention of the students who are appearing for the November, 2010 examinations that an announcement is given on page 28 of the August, 2010 issue of the Student’s Journal regarding the applicability of relevant amendments/Circulars/ Notifications/ Regulations etc. in respect of CA Final (New Course) – Paper: 4 Corporate and Allied Laws and CA Final (Old Course) – Paper 4: Corporate Laws and Secretarial Practice. Students are advised to read the announcement while preparing for the November, 2010 examinations.

2. The following amendments are applicable in respect of CA Final (New Course) and CA Final (Old Course) for relevant examinations:

Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2009 as amended till April 2010 – Applicable for Both Course
The Competition (Amendment) Act, 2009 – Applicable for Both Course
The Prevention of Money Laundering (Amendment) Act, 2009 – Applicable only for New course

3. For the benefit of those students who may not be having the updated edition of study material containing the aforesaid amendments are advised to read from the given links and study accordingly.
