IF A COMPANY HAS NOT DEDUCTED TDS ON MAKING ANY PAYMENT AND LATER ON DEPOSITS THE AMOUNT OF TDS FROM COMPANIES ACCOUNT AND CLAIMS THIS AS DEDUCTION IN PL ACCOUNT. IS THIS PAYMENT ALONG WITH TDS ALLOWABLE AS DEDUCTION.... AND UNDER MAT CALCULATION TDS AMOUNT SHOULD BE ADDED BACK TO PROFIT OR LOSS AS PER BOOKS OR NOT, TO ARRIVE AT BOOK PROFIT.

It has nothing to do with book profit. No it is not to be added back whether Tds is deducted or not. Such adjustments are to be made while arriving at total income as per normal provision and not as per MAT provisions.
