Hello everyone,

Recently i have cleared ipcc november 09 with the first attempt managing a decent 52%...i congratulate all the all india rankers in this regard...there is a big hype for the all india rankers and has to be...i would like to know whether for bring a successful chartered accountant is it important to score a rank or in a similar fashion to get a gud job u need a rank...or passing such a tough exam in itself is an acheivement ...i would like all ca's and future ca's to draw their attention in this regard..and help resolve the confusion..! thnx

Dear Nidhi

Marks, rank and no. of attempt does'nt mater,

the things which matter are ur experience, guts and ur attiude,

i tink degree is helpfull up the entry gate, and once u entered it is up to you what u should do or wat not, I know tha fact that rank holders are give priority in all interviews and campus placements but i have many examples where a rankholders have only bookish knowkedge and dont have any idea about work.

if a person after getting good placement on the basis of rank think that he or she got the right job but the organisation to whom with he or she is working is not satisfy from the performance, what they will say : U R A RANKHOLDER MAN, WHAT R U DOING, DON'T U KNOW HOW 2 WORK.

SO, dear frns

as per my opinion rank and marks does,nt matter.

Passing IPCC exam in itself is an acheivement and congrats u made it thru :-)

Ideally it correct and very true.....being in the 844 on 7601 feels fortunate...thanx for replying..!!!!
