Manpower Services-GST

Dear experts.
Q#
scenario,
ABC company is providing manpower services or labour to XYZ company.

XYZ company will pay full amount to ABC company If a labour serves in XYZ company for 6 months. XYZ will pay against Bill as a consultation fees plus GST.

ABC company will file the return as per the service bills made.

If a labour left his job before 6 months XYZ co is deducting the amount in next bill as service incomplete or service returns but ABC has already filed GST and paid tax.

My question is.
How to consider the service incomplete bill.. is it right to send credit note or debit note for service bills.. please help me out to get it solve.

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses how ABC company should handle GST when providing manpower services to XYZ company, particularly when a labour leaves before completing a 6-month contract. XYZ company deducts payment for incomplete service, leading to ABC company having already paid GST on the full amount. Experts advise that ABC company should issue a credit note for the unbilled amount to adjust the GST paid. The client, XYZ company, must then reverse any GST credit they claimed.

Yes, Credit Note can be issued by ABC for the amount which XYZ won't going to pay.

To enable you to take the benefit of GST paid towards non completion of the services as deducted by your client, you will need to issue credit note.

The client has to ensure that he reverses the GST credit claimed by him

As per the GST act it is only the supplier who can raise a debit/credit note for tax paid short/excess
Thank you Sir.!
