Our client is registered under Maharastra VAT. Such client open one new office in Pune. I want to know what is a procedure or in which form we have to give intimation in Maharstra VAT Department?
Refer Sec. 18 of the MVAT Act, 2002. You have to furnish necessary information viz. Date of opening of new office, Nature of Business activity, Address of the said new place etc. with necessary supporting documents. There is no specific form for the same. You have to furnish the details on company's letterhead.
