Lumpsum pension

what if commuted pension is received ..... and after that for 6 months lumpsum pension is received and then for balance 6 months monthly pension is received ....
can we treat that 6 months pension received in lumpsum as exempt?

Firstly depends upon the category of employer. For Governmental employees it is free for others it is partly taxable..
