Lta claim question.

Mr. A is travelling for a week by flight and wondering if LTA can / should be claimed or it should be postponed to a later travel. Overall LTA allowance more than all the flight tickets combined.

1. If LTA is not claimed this financial year before Mar31st, Can it be claimed in the next financial year without losing any opportunity ? Or this is the last financial year based on some 4 year block concept ?
2. Is it mandatory that the whole family should have travelled on the same day together and come back together ? In this case, the whole family is not travelling together as employee's wife has already travelled with one child some 3 weeks back and the employee would travel with the second child and they will all be coming back together. What is the max allowed journey in such a case ?
3.What all documents will be required ? Will there be a proof required for Holidays applied / taken ?
4.Can the LTA be claimed for employee's mother, She is on a different ticket though on the same flights as the employee. How do we establish if mother satisfies dependant criterion ?
