Lost Invoice-not able to contact the Vendor

Hi Sir/Madam

We lost several invoices from a vendor.
Also we are not able to contact the vendor. but we paid through bank

it is a capital expenditure for a building and the building is under progress as of now it is under Capital working progress in Balancesheet

We would like to Capitalize in May 2023

is there any alternative to get tax benefit by way of depreciation for the said invoices

Please advise
