i am facing a query.
i want to know whether loss on mutual funds can be set off against income from other source.
if not then explain me, what is the treatment for such transaction.............
please help me.........

1stly loss to be adjusted against the same head I.e capital gains & same loss can be adjusted against other source if loss is in excess of profits against capital gains.
