Hi,
Can a person in employement become a Designated Partner in LLP.
Also is it mandatory for a DP to bring in contribution.

An employee can become designated partner in any company provided your terms of employment do not restrict the same. Further the employee should have a valid DIN and should not be disqualified to be appointed as Designated partner. Some contribution will have to bought in by the partner whether in cash or in kind.
