Linking aadhar with pan

Good Morning, My wife is a housewife, she don't have any income. When I linked my Aadhar and Pan card, I linked my wife's pan card and aadhar. I wrongly assumed that everyone should link pan card with aadhar. As she don't have any income she is not filing income tax. Could you please let me know will it be a problem if so how to handle this one. Please help. I was working as a software engineer, due to health issue I resigned my job and currently involved in share market - for short term trades/investment. Not doing intraday or F&O. Could you please let me know my tax slabs and exemptions. Thanks, Rajan

If you have linked the pan and aadhar of the individuals correctly and not cross-linked......... then you have done a good job.......... nothing to worry...... that was mandatory.......

For short term trading income........... unless your total gains do not exceed basic limit of 2.50 lakhs.. no tax liability.......... but no expenses are allowed to be deducted in capital gains other than brokerage etc, that is directly linked to sell or purchase...

Thank you for your reply sir.

Most Welcome
