License to sell educational dvds

Dear Team,

This is my first post.I found this forum quite impressive.I have a foreign partner and he has copyright for some educational DVDs in UK.

I want to sell those DVDs in India and will pay him loyality fee.He will send me software and I will get this converted into DVDs. I will be responsible for marketing it in India.

How can I start it. Do I require any license/ copyright/ any legal formality to be done.
