My relative residing at US having LIC policy which gets matured in the month of March 2022
As the maturity amount is to be credited in his NRO account in India the LIC will deduct the DTS at the rate of 31.20 even though it enjoys tax free income u/s 10(10d)
Now is there any procedure that he can get the maturity amount without DTS or at some lower rate ?
