15 November 2009I want to know the tax liability for not submission of CST form 'c' under CST Act
in the case local charges on goods @ 12.5%
in the case local charges on goods @ 4%
And if local material sold by cash to other state party then which tax and how much will be leavy from custmer?

The liability in cse of non submission of CST form will be as follows
Rate of tax on the commadity as per the local cgarges will applicable in absence of CST forms

in absence of C form, the sale is treated as local sales, and full tax is charged as per local vat rules,

what is the time limit for submission of C form, & what are the penalties applicable in case of defalt other than payment of local sales tax.

Dear Mr. Bharat Kumar.
In absence of C forms the local vat rate will applicable. however if it is before vat period then the differencial amount as maximum rate of commodity price will be collected.
Actually as per the vat law the statutory forms to be submited quaterly once.
