During ur 3.5 years articleship u can take upto 180 days of leave... Please refer ur training guide. There are a lot of illustrations.

follow the Calculation Given as under
35 hrs per week * 156 week (3 years) = 5460 hrs in Total Articlship
per day 6 hrs so 5460/6= 910 working days...
So leave = 1095 total days ( 3 years) -- 910 days working days = 185 leave days

one sixth of the total period worked and not total period
the period of articles comes to 3.5 years
so the calculation goes like this
no of days in articles period 3.5*365 which is 1278 days
total eligiblity is 1278/7... since period worked and not total period
so it comes to 183 days.. (Approx)
excess leave if any may be served after the articles period
