What will be treatment of Leave Encashment if it is recevied at the time of retirement by the employee of Central Bank of India?

is it fully exempted under section 10(10AA)(i)?

Bank has already deducted TDS on the same.

so pls. suggest can we take refund for the same?

it is non taxable for a maximum limit of 10 months or 300 days. Anything above that is taxable.

so you mean to say for this section Bank Employees will be treated as Non-Govenment ?
