as per notification dated 24.6.20 late filling fees for gstr 3B is waived off from 1.7.17 to 31.1.20.
when u went to file Gstr 3B for March18,Gst portal asked for late filling fees for delay where as it is NIL return.

Late fees are calculated and charged in subsequent returns. So, the late fees being charged to you might be for any previous period return.
My subsequent returns are NIL
Subsequent returns or previous returns? Anyway, if late fees are being charged due to some system glitch, you will get refund.

If you filed your earlier month's return late, than late fee for same charged in next month's return.
Check that you filed Feb, 2018 return late i.e after due date or not...
