Online Tax Payment is the best solution, as bank clerks make mistakes in selecting proper year and code.

Now All banks Have The Column For Fee U/s 234E.
Just Tell Them To Look For The Field Before Rejecting The Challan.
I Faced The Same With Corporation Bank......And They Replied "No Such Option".......And The I Myself Showed Them The Option In Their System.

Sir I Can Blindly Say Its There As "Fee under sec. 234E"
There's No Reason For It Not To Be There......Its A Banker......Just The Person Dealing You Is Idiot.
