We have recieved an intimation of TDS from the department in which a demand has been arised under head fees u/s 234E .my question is where to show it in challan as some banks are not accepting this amount under head "FEES"

Online Tax Payment is the best solution, as bank clerks make mistakes in selecting proper year and code.
Now All banks Have The Column For Fee U/s 234E.
Just Tell Them To Look For The Field Before Rejecting The Challan.
I Faced The Same With Corporation Bank......And They Replied "No Such Option".......And The I Myself Showed Them The Option In Their System.
IS FEES COLOUMN AVAILABLE WITH DENA BANK, PLEASE CONFIRM
