Late Fee for TDS on Salary Mar 2020

Dear Friends,

Due to some reasons we are not able to pay TDS on Salary for Mar 2020. So, we should pay interest 1.5% for this late fee? or CBDT extended due rates or waiver for late fee due to lockdown?

TDS for salary for the March can be paid with in 7th June .

As TDS under sec 192 for salary to be deducted at the time of payment .

You can take above benefit which is provided in sec 192 itself.

Mohanraj ji .It's 7th May because March salaries will be paid in April so TDS on salaries to be deducted in April and to be remitted with in 7th May.

Make payment within 7th May to avoid interest
