If you have received notice from IT dept then you may file based on the notice date and ref no.
Else you may file ITR u/s 139(8A)

I have refund for AY 2021-22 so can I file return for AY 2021-22?
Yes . You can
No you can't file ITR-U for taking the refund. For taking refund there is a separate procedure now. If you need any help then you can check your inbox.

Paid using Challan 280 same as self assessment tax
