Last date for registration of ca final

What is the last date for registering for ca final exams.. my ca final is due in may 13.. One of my friends had told me tht i can register for d final course till 6 months before my due exam date.. Since i cleared one grp first only, it wasn compulsory fr me to register immediately alongwith articles form itself like it was fr students who cleared both groups at the same time. M i late?
